VMR Therapy, Inc. is a mental health clinic founded and incorporated in 2016 by Dr. Vanessa M. Rodriguez, PsyD, LMFT. The clinic specializes in trauma recovery providing expert services in outpatient psychotherapy, crisis counseling, case management and advocacy.
VMR Therapy is TERM approved, certified to provide clinical assessments and individual & group psychotherapy treatment for Health & Human Services Agency of San Diego County's Child & Family Well Being, formerly known as Child Welfare Services/Child Protective Services [CWS/CPS].
VMR Therapy, Inc. is a California Marriage & Family Therapy certified Continuing Education Unit provider. Training topics include narcissistic abuse, coercive control, offender typologies, betrayal blindness, trauma bonding, etc.
Safe Solutions LLC.
Safe Solutions is a forensic outpatient and abuse recovery program founded in 2014, specializing in the treatment of domestic violence offenders, child abuse offenders (including neglect and endangerment), and offenders of stalking crimes. The program is court approved by the San Diego County Probation Department, as well as Criminal, Family, and Juvenile Dependency Courts.
In 2022, Safe Solutions was incorporated as a non-profit organization with a broadened focus on academic education and clinical supervision in mental health treatment, including psychology, psychotherapy, social work, and nursing.
Safe Solutions is also approved by the San Diego County Probation Department to offer 40-hour Domestic Violence Offender and 40-hour Child Abuse Offender Treatment Provider Certification training, as well as the advanced 16-hour continuing education program, in compliance with California Penal Code Sections 1203.097 and 1203.098.

Tac Talk
Tac Talk – Tactical Talking is a culturally competent, trauma-informed therapy program designed specifically for public health and safety professionals. Our services include individual, couple, family, and group therapy, as well as retreats, seminars, and workshops.
Our program is tailored to support public safety "first responders," including but not limited to police officers, firefighters (sworn and non-sworn), both active and retired personnel. We also serve public health "second responders," such as social workers, nurses, and therapists.
Tac Talk covers a range of topics critical to the well-being of professionals in these fields. Training topics include domestic violence, vicarious trauma, vicarious resilience, critical incident stress debriefing, officer-involved shootings, officer suicide, and survival strategies for significant others.
Tac Talk Vision – To promote emotional, psychological, nervous system, and interpersonal health for public health and safety professionals.
